What is "Good & Welfare"?
Local 52 has established a "Good & Welfare" committee, for the purposes of recognizing life events of our members and sending acknowledgments on behalf of the Local.
This committee is responsible for arranging the delivery of tokens of acknowledgment in the form of fresh flowers or a fruit basket to a member in the following circumstances:
In the case of condolences, a charitable donation may also be made.
Many forms are available on the AUPE website, from Health and Safety to Steward Nomination to Member Expense Claim forms, AUPE Policy and Procedures documents, and many things in between. Go to the Forms page to find them. You can also find information specific to your Local on the Local 52 page.
You may be required to log in to the AUPE site in order to view certain items. To do this, you will log in with your MyAUPE account.
If you haven't created a MyAUPE account yet, there will be a link allowing you to do so (or you can do it right from the site's home page). You will need your AUPE member ID number to set this up. If you don't know your member ID, contact the Member Resource Centre at 1.800.232.7284 and they will be able to assit you.
